Ignacio is a registered physiotherapist with extensive experience in Australia, Canada, Chile, and New Zealand. He is certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy by the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM-US) in the United States. Additionally, he holds certifications in dry needling (IMS) in Canada and an Australian manual therapy approach for the spine known as “Maitland.”
Ignacio’s journey into physiotherapy began after a serious shoulder injury at the age of 18, which required seven years of treatment. This prolonged process highlighted the importance of a modern scientific approach to manual therapy and specific neuromuscular control exercises, which ultimately resolved his condition. He realized that technical knowledge alone was not enough; involvement, commitment, and empathy towards patients are crucial for effective and successful treatment. These principles have shaped Ignacio’s approach to patient care.
Graduating from Chile in 2011, Ignacio brings over a decade of experience in various international settings. He possesses specific expertise in sports such as tennis, martial arts, calisthenics, and weight training, allowing him to provide specialized care for athletes and active individuals.
